The Farm Chicks Vintage and Handmade Fair
June 7-8

As you know, I take special care with picking out unique fabric lining for each of my Dopp kits. I have fun doing it, too. As we’ve discussed before, it’s often the lining that makes the bag.

What you see here is a patchwork of the lini

I’m excited to experiment and play with these textiles samples.

The newest Dopp Kits! Hot off the sewing table, as they say.

Tthe lining of one of the latest @covermecarryme belt bags its a cotton tea towel from Hickory Farms. Found two at a thrift store — still in their original packaging. 

Circa 1980 is my guess.

Doesn’t it make a great splash of whim

Belt bags almost done — just need to attach the straps and do a little hand-sewing to get the lining closed. Phew!

The top one (denim) and is going to @daviskimber.

I use mine all the time (floral fabric sample I got in Paris).
